Soup plate, 10 inches diameter. Brown transfer. Printed and impressed maker's marks for George Jones & Sons. The Rd. No. dates the registration of this pattern to 1886. The asymmetrical pattern, very similar to the "Peach Blow" pattern by the firm consists of a branch of prunus blossoms emerging from the top right of the plate. Underneath, three songbirds whirl in flight.
